Announcement: 2025 NEH Awards for Faculty at Minority-Serving Institutions

The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is now accepting applications for the Awards for Faculty at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs), Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). This program offers opportunities to faculty and staff to conduct humanities research, supporting projects that benefit scholars, students, and general audiences.

Key Details:

  • Funding Opportunity Title: Awards for Faculty at HSIs, HBCUs, and TCUs
  • Application Deadline: April 9, 2025 (11:59 PM Eastern Time)
  • Optional Draft Deadline: February 14, 2025
  • Award Amounts: Up to $60,000
  • Performance Period: 2–12 months (projects must begin between January 1, 2026, and September 1, 2027)
  • Funding Available: Approximately $1.5 million to support 22 grants across the programs.
