They're people too. Some of my well known friends are so used to getting what they want they don't see it as mistreatment. If you have well known people (celebs) as friends, tell them the truth, your not doing so hinders them. Stop being afraid of loosing their friendship because of status. They desire to be normal but their celebrity is always at the center of them trying to be normal.
You not saying the truth and allowing them to get away with things because you stand to gain something, is stupid. Money and status does not make relationships for me. It's about compassion for the other person that matters, selflessness. How available are you? Can you back up your word? Your celebrity is your work, drop that at the door if you want to keep friends. Every waking moment shouldn't have to have your celebrity at the center of it.
For the people supported you and put you where you are today. Don't treat your friends as fans and mere wallets for your projects and or talk to them only when you feel like it, truth be told your not that busy between projects. Social networking makes you appear to be busier than what you are.
All people act different around people well known, the expectation is that you'll bug them for one thing or the other. Im the opposite. How normal are you? How often do I hear from you aside from notifying me about your new projects? How often do you support your friends as they support you? Is this a real friendship or is it fake?
How do your other friends treat you? What are your past relationships like? Are your new relationships business based, how well do they know the one they make appereances with? Celebrity is over rated, and having them for friends, this fact alone is killing their social lives. I know how lonely some of you are. Drop the act when it comes to your friends. Or you'll loose them. For real.
There are how many people in the world? Why worry about a handful who refuse to be happy. Their personal lives; allowing their celebrity to over shadow the people who will be there when it fades. God bless you.
