 Fake Me



Logline:

A young lady meets a man named Kenny from dating site only to find out his profile is catfish “fake”.

 Curious to see how far the man goes she strings him alone. The man has stolen another person’s identity. She falls in love with man he’s not. How does she keep from getting hurt?  --

On  a dating app Vanessa , finds herself engulfed in a profile that she likes so much. She sends the first message and flirts a little. 

 Later in the day the man replies back with pics of him in the military and pics of his son claiming he’s a single dad.

Vanessa begins to ask all sorts of questions like where is he stationed, how long has he been in service? Of course, she enquired why is he a single dad, and what happened. 

Before you knew it she was falling in love after few days with their exchange and conversing over the Internet. 

They exchanged numbers a begin to chat via text. They send each other more pictures.

 Three months pass and Kenny Ask her for money. Like lump sum of $5000, but she could only cashapp him a $1000. 

She didn’t think much of it. Kenny was cool with the grand she sent. A few more months pass and she sends a lump sum of $2000. Again Vanessa is clueless. 

Vanessa received a suspicious call and was a women inquiring about who she was. She shared that the man you think you’re in love with us not Kenny. As a matter of fact he’s a fake. 

KENNYS identity is stolen and the man you’ve been chatting with is a scammer. A known scammer. 

Vanessa wanted to know where the real Kenny was so she could warn him, although she’s still in love with the idea of him. The unknown caller gave her a number to reach him.

Immediately after the call Vanessa calls the real Kenny, and begins to explain the lies and scams from the man pretending to be him and how she’s in love. 

The real Kenny and Vanessa devised a plan to catch said scammer red handed. 

Okay when the scammer talks to you via text, forward me every message, get him to share his location, then share it with me.
